How to find python example codes in Cloud9 and GitHub?

Finding Python Examples for Vention

If you’re looking to get started with Python scripting for your Vention projects, there are a few places you can explore to find helpful examples:

1. Cloud9 Environment

For those working directly within a Cloud9 environment, Python examples can often be found within the project directory:

  1. Open Cloud9: Log into your Cloud9 environment (debian is the username and the password is the one you made during setup).
  2. Navigate to the User Python applications: Use the file explorer on the left-hand side of Cloud9 to navigate to the directory
  3. In the vention-control directory go to the python-api and then examples directory for a list of example programs

2. GitHub Repositories

GitHub is another excellent resource for Python examples related to Vention. You can find repositories with sample code, community contributions, and official Vention scripts. Clone the repositories into your local environment or directly into Cloud9 to start experimenting. You can access them through this link.

3. Vention Website

The Vention website offers documentation, tutorials, and sometimes even code snippets that can be used in your Python projects. Be sure to check the official resources available on the site, as they might have updated examples and best practices. The following links are very useful:
