Steps:

  1. Access Network Connections:
  • Begin by opening the Control Panel on your laptop.
  • Navigate to Network and Internet > Network Connections.
  • Locate your network adapter (typically named “Ethernet” or “Wi-Fi”), then right-click and select Properties.
  1. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4):
  • In the Ethernet Properties window, scroll down to find Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).
  • Ensure the checkbox next to it is checked, then click on Properties.
  1. Configure IP Address:
  • In the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties window, select Use the following IP address.
  • Enter the IP address provided by your network administrator. For example:
