Steps:
- Access Network Connections:
- Begin by opening the Control Panel on your laptop.
- Navigate to Network and Internet > Network Connections.
- Locate your network adapter (typically named “Ethernet” or “Wi-Fi”), then right-click and select Properties.
- Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4):
- In the Ethernet Properties window, scroll down to find Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).
- Ensure the checkbox next to it is checked, then click on Properties.
- Configure IP Address:
- In the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties window, select Use the following IP address.
- Enter the IP address provided by your network administrator. For example:
